As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in driving strategic business initiatives and overseeing a team of business analysts. With a focus on BA practice development, this position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the organisation's success.
What you'll be doing
- Manage and lead a team of eight business analysts, providing guidance, coaching and performance feedback
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements, identifying opportunities for process improvements
- Translate complex business needs into clear, concise technical specifications and solutions
- Develop comprehensive project plans and manage the successful delivery of business analysis projects
- Advocate for the use of best-practice business analysis methodologies and tools
- Provide expert advice and support to cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives
- Participate in the development of long-term business strategies and contribute to the overall growth of the organisation
- Significant experience (5+ years) as a business analyst or business analyst manager
- Proven track record of leading and mentoring a team of business analysts, with a focus on professional development
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Proficient in the use of business analysis tools and techniques, such as process mapping, requirements gathering, and data analysis
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as business, IT, or computer science
